Welcome to Into the West! We are a Middle-Earth based site that focuses on retelling the events of the Hobbit, Shadow of Mordor, and the Lord of the Rings in a three arc epic with your characters to see how they alter the fate of Middle-Earth. Through the actions of your characters, Middle-Earth has a chance to become better or worse. Perhaps thanks to you, the War of the Ring sees a much stronger Free Peoples fighting against Sauron. Or maybe it's because of you that we're all doomed, who knows? Please read through our rules and other site essentials to see if this is a good site for you. Minas Tirith
The White City and the pride of Gondor. Minas Tirith is an absolute behemoth of not only a city, but a fortress as well, able to take an excruciating amount of punishment before falling. There are several things that are notable of the White City; there are seven levels that comprise the entirety of Minas Tirith, and at the top is the White Tree of Gondor, which has not blossomed in many years, since the line of kings has ended for the land of Gondor. Instead, it is from here that the Stewards rule in their stead as they wait for the Return of the King. Nevertheless, the White City is a breathtaking location and most who enter it are struck speechless for the first time.
