Welcome to Into the West! We are a Middle-Earth based site that focuses on retelling the events of the Hobbit, Shadow of Mordor, and the Lord of the Rings in a three arc epic with your characters to see how they alter the fate of Middle-Earth. Through the actions of your characters, Middle-Earth has a chance to become better or worse. Perhaps thanks to you, the War of the Ring sees a much stronger Free Peoples fighting against Sauron. Or maybe it's because of you that we're all doomed, who knows? Please read through our rules and other site essentials to see if this is a good site for you. We would love to have you join and have fun with us!

An old fortress once owned by Gondor. Isengard is a vast area which is surrounded by a circular wall. Within the middle of this wall is the tower of Orthanc, a large, black tower, and one of the two towers spoken of. Currently however, Orthanc, and by extension Isengard, is housing, and owned by, the White Istari, whom holds the keys. If one should manage to get through to this place, then perhaps the White Istari may be willing to offer council.
