Bestiary
Within Middle-Earth, there are a lot of nasty beasties, plenty that would love to make a snack out of you. Though there are some that are actually quite intelligent and have their own values and morals. You'd be surprised, honestly. That said, this thread here is a tracker of all the different types of monsters encountered throughout the site. Whenever they're run into in a quest, if they aren't here, then they get added here.
That's sort of why it's as empty as it is right now, not much has been encountered. Think of it like a pokedex; everyone needs to chip in to fill it up. As more monsters and enemies are encountered, they'll be added here in order to further document the beasts and maybe make things just a little less painful for those in the future.
Snaga
A small goblin. Little more than a slave. Often armed with simple tools. They cannot move in the sun.

Orcs
The mainstay of Sauron's forces. They are elves twisted into horrible forms. Corrupted, they are easy to scare, but are known for their numbers and absolute brutality. They cannot move in the sun however.

Uruks
Literally the word "Orc" in the black tongue, an Uruk is essentially a massive orc. They are very physically imposing, and it is this brute strength that makes them deadly. However, they cannot move in sunlight.

Trolls
Large, lumbering creatures. Towering over any of the Free Peoples, trolls are exceedingly deadly, having immense strength, even enough to uproot and use a tree as a makeshift weapon. Fortunately, exposure to sunlight will petrify them.

Bandits
Cowards that prey on the weak, Bandits come in all shapes and sizes, and are jerks. Thankfully, they aren't much in a fight, and can quickly find themselves outclassed. They're not picky either.

Black Numenóreans
Though a rarity in the late Third Age, the Black Numenóreans still exist mostly in the higher societies of the southern and eastern peoples. Well versed in blade and sorcery, they are an exceptionally deadly foe.

Simple Wolves. Wolves hunt in packs.

Large flying creatures that are able to travel swift distances, and damage their foes with sharp claws and fangs.

Giant Spiders
Large spiders that to be descended from Ungoliant herself. This brood, while not powerful, is effective in groups for their ability to incapacitate their victims with venoms, spinning them into webs to consume them later.

Wargs
A large, wolf life creature. Wargs are savage beasts, able to cross great distances in a short amount of time. Their bites are deadly, and they will ferociously tear apart any prey they can get a hold of. They are often used as mounts for Orcs.

Wights
Animated corpses filled with malevolent spirits. They have dark powers that make them a great threat to even hardened warriors.

Were-worms
Enormous, sleek creatures that burrow through the grounds. The most dangerous thing to fear with these beasts if them erupting from beneath to swallow you whole. However, when they leap up, they briefly expose themselves.

Giants
Massive stonebuilt creatures that reside in the Misty Mountains. Their "games" have often been mistaken for actual battles between the giants, and are destructive enough that they leave lasting scars upon the mountain range. Rare and dangerous, they are a hardy and strong foe.

Cold Drakes
An exceptionally rare and dangerous foe found only in the deep places of the world and the far, far frozen north, beyond even the reach of Angmar. Only fools seek a quarrel with a Cold Drake. It is fortunate however, that they do not possess the fire breathing capactity of their more famous brethren. They are cunning however, and certainly capable of speech.
Found mostly in: In the deepest dungeons and the far north.
